Freedom Challenge 2015

My husband and I took part in the Freedom Challenge Race Across South Africa 2015. It is quite a different race compared to most events and very few of our friends and family knew much about it, so I put this site together to explain what it entailed and why we were spending so much time planning and prepping.

It gave me the opportunity to be free with a web design and in particular, use parallax scrolling images which I have been keen to play with for a while.

During the event we had limited internet connection, so I hadn't planned to write any form of daily blog. But I was able to post images to Instagram and push to my Facebook and Twitter feeds, keeping the folks back home updated across the three main social platforms.
