Design Indaba Administration

Behind the scenes of the Design Indaba Conference and Expo, there are various administrative tasks needed for processing Exhibitors, providing media packs, gathering feedback and channeling registrations.

In preparation for the 2014 events, I built a completely new system in Drupal 7 that manages this process. It primarily keeps track of over 400 Exhibitor applications, processed through a workflow that deals with the Expo organisers, a team of critical curators, editorial and design teams. Other webforms are used for additional applications and registrations, all resulting in umpteen notifications being fired off every hour.

It is a busy hub for at least 6 months of the year and one that I will be fine-tuning and documeting every step of the way.
